July too was, as June, so, so warm and sunny. I either read or heard it was the warmest ever. So when it dropped from the about 29-33 Celsius we had for weeks, the about 20 which is more normal here, now actually feels cold. Here are some July photos. The pictures of the fly, butterflies, and other insects are just stunning! This past July really was a wonderful month, wasn’t it? 😊 So happy to see your pictures as always, and I love that Jacky found himself a wonderful ‘pillow’! 😻

Your flowers are gorgeous! They clearly don’t mind the heat. And wow, such beautiful butterflies! Jacky seems to be having a restful summer. What else can you do but sleep when it’s so hot? 😉
We had a very hot June, followed by a very rainy July. In fact, it was the wettest July on record for this part of New England. Meanwhile, forest fires are raging in the western US and Canada, where there is severe heat and drought. Some days we get smoke here from the fires. It’s a strange summer of extreme weather.
Thank you so much for the long nice comment. I really feel bad for not writing back wright the way. Sorry 😟 Jacky spent a lot of time outdoors, on the patio and in the shade of the apple tree. But, he got to catch some mice now and then. Now it is about time to take the flowers in the pots indoors. The nights are getting a bit chilly. I think August was about one of the wettest ever ! But, I guess after two months of no rain the water was needed. I wish you a beautiful safe fall 🍂 🍁 🍄 🙂
Enjoy the rest of September! It’s my favorite month. Not hot or cold, not too rainy, although it’s raining now as I write this. 🙂
