Yesterday, at about noon, when we walked down by the lake there still was a thin layer of ice on the lake. In the evening the wind was strong and made ice crush of what was left of it.

brr… i can still remember the strong wind. hope it’s gone soon!
It was so strong and loud. Good there are no such strong winds as typhoons, hurricanes etc here because already this one really was pretty scary.
Wow! Quite a storm! Which lake? One can rarely see lake swelling like that in the wind/storm (- well, I have never seen…)! Was your wharf still left on its place in the morning? 🙂
It’s Lake Pitkäjärvi in Espoo. The wharf, which is not owned by us, still is there 🙂
