I happened to see this swan family when we were on the the way to the supermarket. Oh look, look I said. I want to shoot a couple of photos. Make a u-turn. There still is some ice on the lake but close to the shore there is water. After a while the young swan got curious and came towards me. Maybe he thought I had some kind of treats or so. After staring at me for a few seconds he returned to his parents.
Season start for F1 this morning. Last fall Jacky and I were watching every race together. I wondered would he still be interested in watching. Yup, he was just as much as before. It’s exhausting and he took a nap right after the race was over.
Wednesday 15th was the first real spring day. Plus 9 degrees Celsius. Yay 😀 Roads and sidewalks are bare from snow. Still snow in our backyard. But it will disappear quickly enough as it was also warm yesterday, 8 C, and raining in the night. Best time of the year.

After many cloudy days with snow, sleet and rain it yesterday was a wonderful sunny day. And, finally daylight at about 6 pm when Canelo and I take our evening walk. We stopped down by the lake to enjoy the scenery at sunset. It was so nice. No wind, no planes, no sounds of traffic. A surprisingly quiet moment. Then, in the distance, I thought I saw a kite skier. Yes, it really, truly was one. How was it possible without any wind. I don’t know but he was going pretty fast back and forth many times. Either he was huffing and puffing a lot or there was just enough of a wind at where he was. I know, It’s hard to see him in my picture. But’ he is there 🙂
