In the end of October we had Pero here for ten days. This week we had him back. This time for a short time. From Tuesday evening to Friday afternoon. We wondered how our cat Jacky would react. Would he remember him. When we arrived Jacky immediately greeted Pero nose to nose. So sweet. I should have had the camera stand by.
Pero: Jacky, did you sleep well ? Jacky:Hmm, do you know you snore ? !
Pero: Where is my breakfast ? Me: Pero dear, just a second.
Jacky & the new toy. I think the size is more like the size of a rat 🙂 What Jacky likes most is when the ”thing” runs in and out of the cardboard box and around the box or when it runs under the sofas and chairs. I wish he would himself be able to manage the remote control.
Less daylight all the time, cold, rain, snow, more rain, more snow . . .So this is the best way to spend the days now . . .
For ten days we had the joy and pleasure to take care of Pero, our friends’ dog. We were a little concerned of how our cat Jacky would react. He was a little suspicious at first. To our delight they quickly became friends. I guess it was because Pero had a cat in his life for his first, about, 5-6 years and Jacky had our Canelo in his life for his first 1,7 years. I think Jacky liked Pero because he also is a Spanish Water Dog like our Canelo was. It was lovely to see them every morning, nose to nose, say good morning. Pero, welcome back, anytime !
Happy, happy birthday dear Jacky !
The trailer is loaded with stuff to be taken to the waste & recycling station, looks like Jacky wants to come too.
Just some random shots from the backyard.
In the last issue of K Ruoka there was this recipe on princess pastries. I showed my husband and said look what I’m going to make for Valentine’s Day. Hmm, he looked a bit suspicious. Well, I made them today. Not all of them look pretty. It was difficult to cut them into neat squares. But, they are good 🙂
