The other day my husband said, hurry, hurry take the camera and come. There is a woodpecker sitting on the tree stump right on the other side of the fence. I said, if I open the door he will fly away. I’ll take some photos through the window and we’ll see what they look like. Once again, I wish I had had the camera on the tripod. Next time . . .

Oh you managed quite well. Some lovely shots. Mine are often a blur and I miss seeing the bird in the attempt for a photo. I think the important thing is the encounter. Hope all going well.
Thank you very much. I got some blurry ones too 😀 All is well here. Very warm. About 30-32 Celsius. But I don’t complain. Already next week it will drop to about 20 C which is pretty much normal summer temperatures. Take care, be safe,
