The other day my husband said, hurry, hurry take the camera and come. There is a woodpecker sitting on the tree stump right on the other side of the fence. I said, if I open the door he will fly away. I’ll take some photos through the window and we’ll see what they look like. Once again, I wish I had had the camera on the tripod. Next time . . .
Monthly Archives: April 2020
I hope you all are in good health !
Yesterday and today have, so far, been the warmest days of this spring, plus 15 degrees. It has been wonderful. The rest of the week the temperature will drop a bit, to about 8-6 degrees. I hope the sunshine and warm will be back next week. The primulas and the liverleafs in blue and white we have in our garden. The photo of the liverleafs to the right are growing in the woods.
Easter 2020
I hope you all will be able to have a nice Easter despite the social distancing. Stay safe !
Wood Anemone
One more spring wild flower. The wood Anemone. So much looking forward to be able to do some something in the garden. But, the ground is still hard. Will have to wait a week or two.
Butterfly
Yesterday it was the warmest day so far. Sunshine all day. I saw this yellow butterfly flutter around in the garden. A common brimstone. We call them lemon butterflies. I took my camera and went outside and took some photos. The lens was not the best possible for photographing butterflies. But, had I went back indoors to switch to an other lens the butterfly probably had fluttered away. There is not much to photograph now because we are staying at home. Only time we go out doors is into the garden or to drive to the supermarket to pick up groceries we have bought online. Take care all !
Doodle Art
It was so much fun and so relaxing to draw the first one so I did two more. Luckily my husband had one more marker. I said the one I already posted had two many sections. Well, these have the same amount. I should have planned the lines a bit better. My husband suggested I draw even more of them the we can use them as wallpaper. Yeah right ! Hah-hah-haaa.
