Runeberg’s Tarts

Today, February 5th, we are celebrating the birth of our national poet J.L. Runeberg. The tradition is to have Runeberg’s tarts. For the last seven years I have made them myself. So also this year. I think the best ones so far 😉

Ooh, it looks so pretty! 💕 homemade ones are always the best, and yours really look so good. I didn’t realize it was today, as always i went straight to making laskiaispulla and skipping runebergin torttu. 😋 today is also the lunar (Chinese) new year, did you get to see any celebration?

Thank you so much saxsilverain 🙂 Before I make laskiaispullia I’m planning to make something for Valentine’s day. This year we didn’t go to Helsinki to see any Chinese new year celebration. I totally forgot 😦 Next year, if I remember 😀
