Last week we visited Helsinki Market Square twice. On Thursday 11th at the Herring Market which ended on Saturday. Yesterday at the Traditional Sailing Ship Day. We went there early because I thought the ships would arrive into the harbor in the morning and I would be able to shoot nice photos. But, by the time we arrived, at about 9:00 am, all already were there. I suggested we go back there in the evening when they they leave but, my husband didn’t like the idea at all. So we didn’t. October so far has been warm and nice. Yesterday it was, for mid. October, an unusually warm, + 17 degrees Celsius, sunny day.
Also laughed when I saw that Santa was in the ship on October. 😄 but… that dog is a cutie! 😍 Did he help Raimo raise money? (Help, that’s just too cute!)
Heh-heh, I smiled when I saw Santa with his phone in his hand. Looked like he was texting 🙂 Maybe to his helpers in “Korvatunturi”. Such cute dog, any dog, all are cute and help the business 😀
One of the places I love. I used to live for months in this post. Our ships used to make in Helsinki. COSTA – if you see that yellow funnel it’s them. I think they still cruises in this port😍
Oh, you have been here. That’s so cool. Glad you liked it 🙂 I,m pretty sure I have seen your ships. And, Sumith, thank you so much for all the likes and for taking your time for comments as well. All the best 🙂
Thank you Aheikkinen. And looking forward for more of your amazing posts!
Welcome Sumith 🙂
Beautiful ships. Why was that fellow dressed in red and white?
Thank you. I also think the ships are beautiful. The fellow dressed in red and white is Santa Claus. Also called just Santa. He lives in Lapland and bring gifts at Christmas to children.
Aha! So now we know where he is in October. 😉
Right 😀
