More Nostalgic Feelings

Here are some photos from yesterday of the steam train and Borgå old town.

I wish the station buildings at some point would undergo a total renovation just like the Porvoo station is under now

We were in good time for coffee and pie before the arrival of the train

Arrival at Hinthaara station exactly at 11:47 am according the timetable

And, of course, it arrived on the dot according to the timetable also in Porvoo

It surprised me to see how many people took the trip. It made me happy to see the old railway station is under renovation.

When I saw this cardboard lady I said to my husband, remember when your brother & his family visited in 1988 he hugged this. L. said, OK, take a picture of me doing the same and send to him
