The Tall Ships Races and Maritime Festivals 2017 in Kotka (part 3 of 3)

The last pictures from the Tall Ships Races, Kotka. No more photos of ships But, art of the ships and cups and mugs. I love mugs and it was so hard for me to not buy any. I can tell, I wanted to have all of them.

such a thoughtful thing of those young people to make drawings to welcome those ships! and oh my, what beautiful cups & plates! so did you succeed NOT to buy any of them? 😀 i was kind of hoping to see one of your cakes or other desserts served on one of those plates.

I still regret for not buying 😦 But, since that, I bought 1/2 dozen Marimekko “puketti” mugs and plates in green and white. They were on sales. I love them. Yesterday I bought mugs with roses on ( of course also on sales). Next time I see cute mugs I will close my eyes and just walk by 😀

flowery mugs overdose! 😀 maybe i’d get to see one of them one day on your blog posts? like as a background for some baked stuffs/cakes, or something.

They were young people drawing them with crayons. So, I guess I should call them drawings instead of paintings. It’s pity they will not last for so very long. Yes, the flower mugs are so attractive.
