It’s officially summer now. The weather forecast had predicted real summer days to begin in the first week of June. Yesterday, the officially, first day of summer was windy, cold and rainy. “Iltalehti” the afternoon newspaper, title said “heat-wave cancelled”. I hope it on Saturday, at least, will not rain because that is when the Helsinki Samba Carnaval takes place.
We call them midsummer flowers. The color ranges from mauve to blue even white depending on soil conditions.
Have a great summer !
