Last night we went down to the lake for our regular evening swim. Oh no ! There they were. The blue-green algae. No wonder the beach, usually crowded, was empty. after given it a thought, counting pros and cons, I decided to, despite all, go into the water. After all there was not yet that plenty algae. At least not as much as in 2011. The picture below. Leif was quick to comment that the algae look just like the kale smoothie I made some days ago. Hah-hah-haa. So funny. OK, he is right. Looks exactly like it. I wonder will I ever make some more kale smoothie.
Guess who was hugely disappointed. Yes, Canelo. He was so excited when we packed all the things, also his two tennis balls. We just couldn’t let him into the water as he get so much water in his mouth when swimming. He cried when we drove back home.
Yup, in 2011 it was really bad. I wouldn’t have gone into the water for any money.
