Yesterday we were at the theatre watching Sari (our neighbor) in a dramatized, partly improvised play about Kalevala. Kalevala, by Elias Lönnrot, is regarded the Finnish national poetry epic from the 19th century.
To be honest. I don’t know very much about Kalevala. So to me it was very interesting.
Sari is playing the role of Ilmatar in the play set up by a group from the Adult Education Hobby Theatre Institute here in Espoo. Sari is the third from the right in the back rove. Well done Sari and all in the group.
