Well hello ! My friend Britt, you know the "cousin", told me she couldn’t see my count down clock. I wonder why . . . maybe it’s because she’s using a different browser. Anyway the count down is set to tell when it’s officially my last day at work; February 29.
BUT . . . as I’m working part-time pension, three days a week, it means I only have
1 2 = twelve
more mornings to get up for work !
I received the confirmation from the The Local Government Pensions Institution today and March 1st I’m officially on pension. Hmmmm . . . on pension, a pensioner, retired . . . will I ever get used to the expression ! I know Canelo will be so happy me being at home all the time. I don’t know about hubby . . . maybe I’m going to get on his nerves.
It’s a great time of the year for a new start . . . as a pensioner. The days are getting longer. After weeks and weeks and weeks of dark, cloudy, mostly rainy days it today was pretty much like a first day of spring. Wonderful sunshine. Yes I know . . . it’s not yet spring for real . . . specially as the weather forecast says it’s gonna snow tomorrow. But yeah you can feel it’s coming . . the spring.
Wishing you all a nice February !
