Spending A Most Wonderful Day With Our Good Friends

It looks sooo good  . . . also it was good.
These are perches caught in the lake and prepared by Christer who is a superb chef.
The silence is so nice. No traffic sound, no airplane sound just the birds, the wind and the lake.
Shall I or shall I not !
Yes . . . I hopped in for a swim. The water was nice and warm.
Rowan in an old "pot" for milk. It’s beautiful.
What a lovely place for afternoon coffee.

Instant Inspiration/Timeless Wisdom

These words of wisdom were sent to me by my good friend Cla, from France, that I already known on “messenger” for about five years.

Instant Inspiration/Timeless Wisdom

It is so easy to feel as if life is not worth living when we focus on what we do not have instead of being grateful for what we do have. It’s time to realise that to make life the exciting adventure that it is supposed to be we must learn to celebrate life.

You woke up this morning. Celebrate, many did not.

You have a job. Celebrate, many do not.

You can read and write. Celebrate, many cannot.

You have shoes. Celebrate, many do not.

You have someone who loves you. Celebrate, many feel totally unloved.

You have someone to love. Celebrate, many are lonely.

You have a roof over your head. Celebrate, many sleep in the streets.

You will have dinner tonight. Celebrate, many will go to bed hungry.

You have a warm bed. Celebrate, many do not.

You are alive. Celebrate, it is only by being alive that opportunities are discovered and dreams realised.

You are the creator of your destiny. Celebrate.

Just remember you cannot be happy while you are unhappy about not having the things that you think you need to make you happy. The only way to be happy is to be aware of all the things that you do have, to be grateful for having them and to celebrate your good fortune.

What else can you find to celebrate?

The Veteran Motorbike Club Visiting Trollberga Museum

Today I went with my husband and the Veteran Bikers to visit Trollberga Museum which is a Tractor
and Agricultural Museum.  This year it’s the museum’s 10 years anniversary. We used to live in "the
neighbourhood" for 15 years and it was so nice to "be back" there after already living away
from there for 17 years.
Many of the nice things there are things we also had at "home" when I was young.
E.g. both coffee tins marked with the X:s.
Actually we do have them still today as I got them from my mother over 40 years ago.
For the first time we had Canelo with us to this kind of event. At first he didn’t know what to think and
was a little bit confused but he got over it very soon and enjoyed himself by playing with a paper coffee
mug. He also had his first little bit of a barbecued sausage and of course it was delicious.
Canelo was a little bit shy when these two lovely children, Milla and Mattias, came and asked about his
name. I was happy to see that in just a few minutes he let them touch him and posed with them when I
took the picture. He is brave "my" little 3,5 months old dog 🙂

Quam and Canelo friendly wrestling

I just cannot resist putting in some more picts of Quam and Canelo . . .
I took these picts already about tree weeks ago.
Quam is so sweat, so sweat and so patient with Canelo.
Even if Canelo, as the baby he is, sometimes is a bit too rough Quam never is
getting nervous or angry with him.
I knew Quam would welcome Canelo with open arms and heart and love him very much.
Ain’t they sooo cute ?

Down At The Lake

Today we walked all the way down to the lake.
This is so much fun . . .

Yahooooo !
What is this green stuff here ? Seaweed . . . OK

Oh boy . . . the wind is hard  . . .

To My Sweet Little Canelo Puppy !

To My Sweet Little Canelo Puppy !

I found this on the net right after we got our little puppy home and it tells just how I feel !

A Stump For A Tail

You can’t buy loyalty, they say,
I bought it though, the other day;
You can’t buy friendship, tried and true,
Well, just the same, I bought that too.

I made my bid, and on the spot
Bought love and faith and a whole job lot
Of happiness,so all in all
The purchase price was pretty small.

I bought a single, trusting heart,
That gave devotion from the start.
If you think these things are not for sale,
Buy a brown-eyed puppy with a stump for a tail.

Just Now !

Happiness is a fragile thing

It’s thinner than the thinnest string

You feel the happiest one on a day

The very next instant it’s all blown away

Things happen that you don’t understand

They frightens you more than you can hardly stand

The tears are just a word from now

You want your fair not to show

You have no clue what to do

More than pray for things to come through

Please help my dear one back to a normal mood

And all the strange feelings go for good
